1.Data controller

2.Personal data processed

• Identity: Name and (optional) surname, in the contact form and in comments.
• Contact: Email address, in the contact form and in comments.
• Request content: Your message and the content of your comments.
• Security: IP address and technical browser information, to prevent spam and abuse.

The Site does not use cookies or tracking technologies that identify you; visit statistics are kept without cookies and without personal data. See the Cookie Policy for details.

3.Purposes

• Receiving, assessing and answering the request you send through the contact form,
• Publishing and managing your comments on articles,
• Keeping the Site and its forms secure and preventing automated (bot) submissions and abuse (e.g. submission limits),
• Meeting legal obligations and protecting rights in possible disputes.

4.Legal basis

• Answering your request and possibly starting a business relationship: directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c),
• Site security and abuse prevention: the data controller's legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-f),
• Publishing your comments: made public by the data subject (KVKK Art. 5/2-d),
• Transferring personal data abroad: your explicit consent as described below (KVKK Art. 9/6-a).

5.How data is collected

Your personal data is provided by you through the contact form and the comment area on the Site; the IP address and technical information are collected automatically, electronically, when you use these forms.

6.Transfers and transfers abroad

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties in Türkiye. The following service providers, which the Site relies on and whose servers may be located abroad, process your data only for the stated purpose:

• Cloudflare (Turnstile bot check, form server): IP address and technical information,
• Upstash (submission limits): IP address, for at most 24 hours,
• Resend (delivering the form message by email): name, email, message,
• Telegram (new message notification): name, email, message,
• Vercel (hosting the Site): technical logs created when you visit,
• Avatar service (e.g. Gravatar; profile pictures in comments): a one-way hash of your email address.

This transfer is based on the explicit consent you give in the contact form after being informed about the possible risks (KVKK Art. 9/6-a). If you prefer not to give it, you can reach me directly by email at [email protected]. Comments and visit statistics are stored on servers managed by the data controller.

7.Retention periods

• Contact form messages: At most 2 years after the request is concluded, then deleted.
• Submission limit records (IP): At most 24 hours; deleted automatically when they expire.
• Comments: For as long as the comment is published; deleted on request.
• Hosting and security logs: For the retention period of the respective service provider.

8.Your rights and how to apply

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7, and to have these actions notified to the recipients; to object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
